Scrap it With a Song - Week 5 Challenge!

On this site, they have a weekly challenge that we are given a song, and we have to create a layout that has something to do with something from the song.  This week's song is "Love Story" - by Taylor Swift.  This is my layout.  This is for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding album.  Let me know what you think of it!

Creative Scrappers - Sketch #104

Well the mojo has been flowing and I got another layout done tonight.  This one is from Creative Scrappers, their 104th sketch!  I love these cause they just keep me inspired!  This layout is for my parents' book that I have been working on for way too long.  This is of me when I was only 3 weeks old!

Creative Scrappers - Sketch #103

Ok I think that I'm getting my mojo back.... at least a little bit.  Again, this is for my album for my parents, since I have neglected this project for awhile!  But here it is!  The hearts and the banner at the bottom with "memories" are all sprayed with Tattered Angels spray.  I haven't used it a lot, but it just put such a pretty hint of sparkle, I enjoyed this page!

Creative Block

Well I've been in a slight Creative Block right now.  Hoping to get some scraping done this weekend!  I have a few challenges that I've slacked off on, and need to get going! 

I hope that everyone is having a great week!  It's been absolutely beautiful here, and here's hoping it will stay that way for the May long weekend!  Cheers to all, and let me know how you are doing!  How do you get through a "creative block"?

Scrap It With A Song - Challenge #3

So I was refered to this site by a visitor to my blog, so I thought that I should check it out.  They do challenges with songs.  Take a line from the song, and create a layout for it.  The song this week is Paparazzi by Lady Gaga, and the line that I took was "Baby, You'll Be Famous".  This is pictures of me from April 1982.  I was just about 3 in these pictures.  This was a lot of fun, and a new way of doing challenges.  Please check out their site, their link is on the right hand side.

Creative Scrappers - Sketch 102

Well it's a new month, and Creative Scrappers has a new challenge going on.  We have to complete sketches 102 - 105 by May 31st.  Well here is Sketch 102!  Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.  It's pictures of my brother and I, one with my Mum, and one with my Dad when we were just little kids.  How time flies and how fast we grow up.

Layout Tag!

Some of the ladies and I over on the CanadianScrapSwapChat played a game of Layout Tag!  How it worked was the first person, had to find something to give her inspiration, then create a layout from it.  She then sent it onto the next person on the list, but ONLY her L/O, not her inspiration.  And it went down the line.  I was the second last one on the list, and here is my page!

Inspiration

We had to find a layout from one of the other ladies on the board and create our own layout from it.  Tammy had done a layout from Facebook's Retro Week.  So I found in the STACK of pictures that I have to do for my Mum and Dad, a picture of my brother and I from when we were little.  Let me know what you think!

Rachel, over at the CanadianScrapSwapChat, asked us to do a "girlie layout".  And all these ladies make all these BEAUTIFUL cards, so I thought, well why not give it a try?  Well I tried, and it's ok, but nothing like what these ladies make.  LOL
